About Daniel Paul Xuereb
Fractional portfolio, PMO and delivery leader in Sydney.
Portfolio Manager · Head of DPMO (Acting) · Delivery Lead · COO, Life and Passing Digital / Gaia Digital
I am a Portfolio Manager and acting Head of a Digital Project Management Office, and M&A integration is part of that work. I take on the same work for a few companies at a time, up to two days a week, and I build the AI and automations that take manual work off their teams.

Why I work fractionally
Fractional work suits a company that needs senior delivery leadership for a day or two a week. That might be a portfolio with no single view of where things stand, a SteerCo that has turned into a status meeting, or project managers working without standards or anyone to coach them.
I publish my rate and bill only the hours I work. Everything I make belongs to you from the day it is made, and my reports say plainly where the work stands. If I am not the right person for what you need, I will say so on our first call.

Daniel Xuereb
My career so far
The organisations I have worked with since Westpac stay unnamed on this site.
2016
Started senior delivery at Westpac.
I learned what good governance looks like, and what bad governance feels like to live inside.
2018 to 2022
Delivery lead across financial services, accessibility and inclusion, and digital solutions.
The lesson I took from those years: frameworks do not run programs, decisions do, and decisions need an owner.
2023 on
Delivery lead and program manager across utilities, cyber security, IT operations, infrastructure and cloud, data, AI, energy and industrials. Hands-on AI work: agent workflows, prototypes, full platforms and automation of delivery reporting.
I started building small tools myself instead of writing decks about them.
Now
Portfolio Manager and acting Head of DPMO. COO at Life and Passing Digital and Gaia Digital.
I run a digital PMO, and M&A integration is part of that work.

Things I have built
I am also COO at Life and Passing Digital and Gaia Digital, a startup building digital solutions for the life and death industry. Gaia is its platform. The rest I built myself.
Gaia
Life and Passing Digital, where I am COO
An end-of-life platform. Families use it to create memorials, write online wills and eulogies, and keep documents in a private vault.
Studio Terra Florals
A Sydney florist I co-run
I built the site and the back office it runs on: Square checkout, an AI assistant called Sage that can take an order in chat, and ordering through ChatGPT.
Tools on this site
Self-serve, free or fixed price
Self-serve tools that hand back a written result: an AI readiness audit, a stuck program diagnostic, an AI vendor diligence memo, an AI use policy and an exec summary drafted from rough status notes.
LeadDock
Lead capture for local trades, my own product
Every enquiry gets an instant alert and an auto-reply, so jobs do not go cold.
How I work
The billing and notice terms are the same for every company, and they are written into the statement of work you can create on this site.
Billed on the hours I work
$1,850 + GST for an eight-hour day, charged pro rata on the hours I work. Invoiced fortnightly in arrears on fourteen-day payment terms, with an hours breakdown on every invoice.
AI and automation
I automate the manual work around delivery and operations: status reporting, PMO admin, intake and triage, quoting, data entry between systems and follow-ups. I build it myself and you own it. AI drafts; I decide.
Up to two days a week
On site in Sydney or remote, flexible around your priorities. Some weeks need two full days and others a few hours, and the invoice follows the hours.
An owner for every decision
SteerCo preparation and facilitation, risk and issue management with named owners, and re-baselines when a plan has moved.
Reporting that says where things stand
My reports tell the exec where a program really is. An accurate read of a thirty-out-of-a-hundred program is worth more than a kind sixty.
Ownership and notice
Reports, templates, tooling and working documents are yours from the day they are made. Either side may end the arrangement with fourteen days’ written notice. No minimum term, no minimum hours.
A thirty-minute call, or a statement of work.
Talk the work through on a call, or get the statement of work I would send after one, made out to your company for whoever approves the spend.
